Aarau remain unblemished after six rounds

On the upper shores of Lake Zurich, Aarau needed patience despite their clear superiority on the pitch. It was only after just over an hour that top scorer Valon Fazliu scored the highly deserved opening goal and winner.

FC Aarau are the fifth team in the history of the Challenge League with 18 points after six rounds - after Yverdon (2004/05), St. Gallen (2008/09), Lausanne-Sport (2010/11) and Schaffhausen (2017/18). However, no one has yet managed a seventh win in a row. Aarau could change that in two weeks' time against Vaduz.

Bellinzona are on a completely different path. The Ticino side are still without a win after their 3-1 defeat at Stade Nyonnais and remain bottom of the table.
