After less than four months, Liam Rosenior has already lost his job as Chelsea coach. The Premier League club has announced that the Englishman has been released despite having a contract until 2032.

22.04.2026, 19:23This is Chelsea's response to the ongoing results crisis. The 3-0 defeat at Brighton the day before was their seventh defeat in the last eight games. "It was unacceptable in every respect, both in terms of the game and our attitude," said coach Rosenior after the game on Tuesday evening.
The Blues have lost five consecutive league games in a row for the first time since 1912 and are in danger of dropping out of the European Cup places.
Co-coach Calum McFarlane will be in charge of the team until the end of the season.
