Around 10,000 people attended the 24th edition of the Zurich jazz festival "Jazznojazz". According to the organizers, stars, legends and newcomers thrilled the audience with a wide variety of contemporary jazz, soul, jazz fusion and funk.

Musical highlights included 80-year-old drummer Billy Cobham, jazz trumpeter Till Brönner, the pioneers of electro-swing Caravan Palace and jazz fusion icon Spyro Gyra, as the organizers announced on Sunday.

Six newcomer bands were also presented. These included the London artist Cherise and the winner of the Zürcher Kantonalbank (ZKB) Jazz Prize, the "Lea Gasser 5tet". The festival ran from October 30 to November 2.
