Miscellaneous 47th Solothurn Literature Days with "average" interest
The 47th Solothurn Literature Days came to an end on Sunday afternoon. The organizers counted 16,500 admissions to the 140 or so events, including the audio stream.

The new team led by managing director Catherine Schlumberger expressed their satisfaction in a press release. The number of visitors was in line with the "average of recent years".
There were also new venues at this year's Literature Days: the Museum Park with a festival center or the concert hall and the Solothurn Art Museum. This meant that the audience was spread throughout Solothurn's old town.
The audience showed great interest in the various socio-politically controversial panels and new literary voices. International authors provided further highlights.
The 48th Solothurn Literature Festival is planned for May 15-17, 2026.
