Annemarie Eilfeld, who became famous through her participation in the sixth season of "Deutschland sucht den Superstar" in 2009, has been critical of the talent show. Although she came third back then, she now sees the format differently.

"This has nothing to do with constructive criticism"

Eilfeld is particularly dissatisfied with the possible appointment of Bushido to the jury. She demands that people with a real understanding of music and the ability to offer constructive criticism should support the candidates. In her opinion, the rapper lacks these qualities. Dieter Bohlen, who is regarded as the creator of the show, does not come off well with her either. She told the "Berliner Kurier" newspaper: "Oh, we don't need to talk about that. That has nothing to do with constructive criticism and honest promotion of young talent, unfortunately."

Concern for the candidates

Eilfeld shows sympathy for the show's participants. She regrets that the candidates are not given enough support: "They all deserve to be taken by the hand and introduced to the industry." On a positive note, however, she sees RTL possibly doing without Pietro Lombardi in the upcoming season after rumors of domestic violence surfaced. Although the allegations are denied by Lombardi and his fiancée, Eilfeld believes the decision is the right one: "I mean, on the one hand, when in doubt for the accused, but on the other hand, when such rumors are circulating, I think it's right that such consequences are drawn."

Pietro Lombardi's reaction

Pietro Lombardi himself has denied that he was excluded from the show. He recently reported on Instagram that the RTL management had assured him that he had not been "kicked out". They are still considering what the jury for the next season should look like. "Maybe I'll be there too, I don't know, I have no idea." It remains to be seen whether RTL will respond to Annemarie Eilfeld's criticism.
