  • Helene Fischer injured herself in a trapeze accident on stage.
  • Expert Georg Stecker classifies the incident and says that acrobats have already died in such a stunt.
  • Stunts like the ones Helene Fischer performs during her show are never 100 percent safe.

Neither Helene Fischer nor her fans will forget this moment in a hurry.

At her stadium show in Hanover last Sunday, the singer hit her face during a trapeze stunt while performing the song "Wunder".

While the blood ran down her face, the professional performer continued to sing - until she finally had to stop the concert.

Helene Fischer stunt was a "professional trick"

The German newspaper "Bild " had the accident investigated by Georg Stecker. He has been the head of the Wintergarten (variety theater) for 25 years - and is an expert in trapeze and acrobatic acts.

"The act in which Helene let herself fall was a real professional trick. It's not something you can do on the side after a few hours of training."

Stecker emphasizes how lucky it was that Fischer and her partner were able to keep their grip. "Because a fall, possibly unconscious, could have led to much worse injuries." Fractures are the least of the problems. "Unfortunately, acrobats have already died."

Pop singer has two options after the accident

You have to train intensively on a regular basis for such an acrobatic act. And Fischer would meet all the requirements for such a professional act. "My stomach and arms are in great shape. But only intensive training can ensure that the coordination works as well as possible."

But: "There is never 100% certainty. It can always happen that the trapeze bar swings two or three centimetres in the wrong direction at certain moments."

And what is the best way for Helene Fischer to continue after this accident? According to the expert, there are two options. "You can leave such very demanding actions (...)." Or: "She decides not to accept this 'defeat'." Then Fischer would have to start training again as soon as possible.

Because otherwise fear, doubt and blockages would make it difficult to get back on track day after day.

Helene Fischer comes to Zurich in September

Helene Fischer is now taking a break from her tour for the summer anyway. Enough time for the pop queen to think about what her future appearances should look like.

This also includes her appearances in Switzerland. Helene Fischer will be performing her live tour Rausch at the Hallenstadion Zurich from September 19 to 24, 2022.
