  • The next edition is planned for June 27 to 30, 2024.
  • Advance ticket sales start on Monday.

The organizers drew a predominantly positive balance of the sold-out festival. Highlights included performances by German hip-hop musician Peter Fox, rap rockers Kraftklub and folk-rock band The Lumineers.

Fans had to accept the cancellation of headliner Lewis Capaldi on Friday. The Scottish singer-songwriter had been struggling with vocal problems at the Glastonbury Festival last week and subsequently canceled all his appearances on the current tour.

In St. Gallen, the assembled fans sang his song "Someone you Loved" and sent him recovery wishes via video.

Advance ticket sales for 2024 from Monday

Following several adjustments to the 45th edition of the Openair, the organizers were also positive.

The changes included a new entrance and exit concept for better visitor flows, ground protection measures, twenty percent more toilet facilities for shorter waiting times and an expansion of the vegetarian and vegan food on offer.

The next edition of Openair St.Gallen is planned for June 27 to 30, 2024. Advance sales will start for the first time on Monday from 8 a.m. with a limited special offer. A four-day pass costs CHF 250 including a CHF 20 bag credit.
