R&B singer Mahalia is at the Montreux Jazz Festival for the second time. In the video, blue News tests her knowledge of Swiss musicians. Although she fails the recognition test, she thinks Beatrice Egli is "so beautiful".

This is the second time that Mahalia has performed at the Montreux Jazz Festival. The British R&B star is delighted to be part of the line-up again, as the 26-year-old Englishwoman admits in an interview with blue News. "The Swiss audience is so much fun. I remember the last time I was here, everyone was dancing. All the time," says Mahalia.

The young artist was born with a love of music. Her parents are both singers. At the age of just 13, Mahalia landed a contract with a record label. With a mix of neo soul, R&B, hip-hop and an unmistakable voice, she now fascinates her fans all over the world.
