No time? blue News summarizes for you

  • According to Blick, the planned 2026 ESC anniversary tour with ten concerts in Europe's largest halls is to be canceled due to low ticket demand. The Hallenstadion Zurich is also affected.
  • Despite prominent acts such as Johnny Logan and other ESC stars, only a few tickets have been sold so far, with prices ranging from 63 to 173 francs being criticized.
  • Official confirmation is still pending, but the cancellation is expected to be communicated next week, while the ESC 2026 will take place in Vienna in May as planned.

Bad news for all ESC fans who were looking forward to the big anniversary tour. According to information from "Blick.ch", the entire tour will be canceled next week due to a lack of demand. This also affects the show on June 20 at the Hallenstadion in Zurich.

The ESC anniversary tour was planned on a grand scale. Ten dates in the largest concert halls in Europe are on the agenda. From the O2 Arena in London to the Lanxess Arena in Cologne and the Avicii Arena in Stockholm. The Hallenstadion in Zurich is also on the program.

All concert venues offer space for over 15,000 concertgoers, but interest in tickets is said to be marginal, writes Blick. Only a small fraction of the tickets are said to have already been sold. Tickets went on sale on February 6.

Prices too high?

ESC aficionados have criticized the prices of the tour. The cheapest ticket in Zurich costs 63 francs, while the best category costs 173 francs. Fans would have to pay 99.90 francs for standing room.

ESC winner Johnny Logan (Ireland), Katrina (Great Britain) and Helena Paparizou (Greece) were among those scheduled to perform. Performances by the ten best-placed acts at this year's ESC were also planned.

Press offices remain silent

The press office of the Eurovision Song Contest has not yet responded to an inquiry from "Blick". The Swiss organizer Gadget also did not want to comment on the relevant information. According to Blick, the cancellation of the tour will be officially communicated next Monday.

The Eurovision Song Contest 2026 will take place in Vienna from 12 to 16 May.

The singer Veronica Fusaro (28) from Thun will be competing for Switzerland. Her ESC song will be released on March 11, 2026.
