Pop singer Heino has officially signed over his villa in Kitzbühel, worth four million euros, to his manager and close confidant Helmut Werner.
In addition to the property, Heino is also leaving part of his income and savings to his manager as a sign of deep trust and gratitude for his support.
An agreement with his late wife Hannelore stipulates that Werner will look after Heino after her death and inherit the joint assets, with Heino retaining a lifelong right of residence in the villa.
Pop singer Heino ("Blau blüht der Enzian") has signed over his villa in Kitzbühel, Austria, to his manager Helmut Werner. The luxury property - with an area of 300 square meters - has an estimated value of four million euros.
That's not all, Heino goes even further, as "Bild.de" reports: He is also leaving Werner some of his earnings and savings, showing an extraordinary trust in his longtime manager and close confidant.
Heino tells the German newspaper: "Helmut and his family are now also my family. Without them, I would be all alone now and probably in an old people's home. I love Helmut, his wife Nicole and their little son Lennie with all my heart, and that's why everything that belongs to me should also belong to them. I would bequeath everything to Helmut one day anyway, so I can share everything with him now."
Heino agreed an inheritance with his wife Hannelore
Hannelore, Heino's wife, died around a year ago at the age of 82. In her will, she named Heino as her sole heir.
But while she was still alive, she made a far-reaching agreement with her husband and his manager Helmut Werner: should one of the two spouses die, Werner undertook to look after the surviving spouse - until the latter's death. In return, Werner was to inherit all of the couple's assets after the death of the remaining spouse.
At the beginning of the year, Heino officially transferred his house in Kitzbühel to his manager Helmut Werner.
The transfer took place at the Kitzbühel district court and was made possible by a special provision in the will of Heino's deceased wife Hannelore: she had specified Werner as her heir, which meant that Heino had to renounce his inheritance of the house.
However, Werner did not miss the opportunity to secure Heino a lifelong, unrestricted right to live in the house, so that the singer can continue to live there alone, reports "Bild.de".
