Chris von Rohr is happy. Now he gives tips on how others can find happiness too. In his new book, the rock musician from Solothurn celebrates life and love with short stories.
"Over the last three years, I've felt a certain hopelessness," Chris von Rohr tells the blue News program "Lässer".
At some point, he woke up in the middle of the night and thought, we have to focus on the positive now. 2000 working hours later, the new book, his sixth in total, was finished.
Even at 72, the rocker has not lost his drive. He has learned to concentrate on one topic. He used to juggle too many balls - even in love.
Chris von Rohr: "That's ten years lost"
But you continue to develop. You suddenly realize that quality, not quantity, is key. Chris von Rohr has been with Patrizia Linder (36) for more than three years.
"We're on the same level emotionally, musically and mentally," says the rocker. When asked about having children, Chris von Rohr has a clear answer: "I'm not one of those men who wants to have another child at 75."
With presenter Claudia Lässer, the musician looks back on his childhood, which he describes as a "gray time". His school days were particularly bad. "Those were ten lost years." He had horrendous teachers - rock 'n' roll saved his life.
