He is considered an exceptional musical talent - the Israeli singer Asaf Avidan.

At 26, his heart was broken and he threw himself body and soul into his music, scratching away at his passionate interpretations with his androgynous voice.

Six years later - thanks to a remix by Berlin producer Wankelmut - he became famous worldwide almost overnight. What followed was a rise for the then 32-year-old singer that enabled him to take his music beyond his home country and into the world.
