Gölä's German-speaking Swiss fans made the pilgrimage to Locarno for "Moon&Stars". But how well do the people of Ticino know Gölä? And do the Ticinesi like his hits? Annina Frey, host of blue Music, put him to the test.
No time? blue News summarizes for you
- Moon&Stars 2023 will take place in Locarno from July 13 to July 23, 2023.
- The good news for all those music fans who can't make the pilgrimage to Ticino this time: blue Music will be broadcasting the best live concerts.
- On Saturday, July 15, you can experience the concert by hit machine OneRepublic free of charge via livestream from 22:30.
"...Ä Schwan so wiss wie Schnee, vergässe was isch gscheh u d'Flüguu trage sie so wit, wius keni Gränze meh git ...", when headliner Gölä played his hit on Friday evening, there was no stopping him on the Piazza Grande.
The concertgoers sing Gölä's catchy tune from 1998 at the top of their voices and a sea of cell phones lights up the Piazza Grande. A Gölä show without "Schwan"? Unthinkable.
But how is Gölä received in Ticino? Do people in Locarno know the Bernese dialect rocker? Do the people of Ticino understand his song lyrics? His stage name alone is a stumbling block for Italian speakers.
Annina Frey, host of blue Music, wandered through the city and did the Gölä test.
