Filming locations are spread all over the world. The 54-year-old's film ("Oppenheimer", "Interstellar") will be released in cinemas worldwide on July 17, 2026.

According to Universal, the film will be shot using IMAX technology, which enables a particularly high resolution. It was already clear in recent weeks that the project will feature a star-studded cast: According to industry papers such as "Deadline" and "Variety", Matt Damon, Charlize Theron, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, Lupita Nyong'o and Robert Pattinson are all involved.

The "Odyssey" tells the story of King Odysseus of Ithaca's adventurous journey home from the Trojan War, during which he faces numerous dangers and at the end of which he arrives home with his wife Penelope.
