The news about the Oscar Academy came without warning, he told the Keystone-SDA news agency on Tuesday. He can now exchange knowledge, inspiration and thoughts with specialists, some of whom he has admired since he was a teenager. Diego Baldenweg works together with his siblings Lionel and Nora.
In two decades, they have composed the music for a total of twenty feature films, TV series and 300 commercials.
The Oscar Academy is exclusive. Membership is by nomination or invitation only. The Academy unites 20 different professional fields and currently has around 10,000 members. Other members from Switzerland include editor Pietro Scalia, directors Xavier Koller and Paul Barras and casting agent Corinna Glaus.
