In the ranking of the 100 best clubs by industry portal "DJ Mag", a Swiss spot is among the best. The famous Berghain Club in Berlin is also in the charts - but has lost three places.
No time? blue News summarizes for you
- The "Hï Ibiza" is voted the best club in the world for the fourth time in a row and sets new standards with its lighting, sound and booking.
- The Mad Club in Lausanne is ranked 47th, making it the only Swiss club in the global DJ Mag ranking.
- Europe's club scene is losing ground in the rankings, while Asia - especially Thailand - is catching up strongly.
Hï Ibiza, which opened its doors on the legendary Playa d'en Bossa (Catalan: Platja d'en Bossa) in 2017, once again tookfirst place in DJ Mag's top 100 clubs.
"We are deeply honored and grateful to have been voted the world's best club for the fourth time in a row," the magazine quoted Yann Pissenem as saying. He is the managing director of The Night League.
This company also runs the "Ushuaïa" on Ibiza, opposite the "Hï", which came third in this year's ranking (fourth last year). The "Green Valley" in the Brazilian coastal town of Camboriú remains in second place.
A Swiss nightspot has also made it into the "DJ Mag" charts: Lausanne's Mad Club.
The location has five floors and offers a wide range of parties: from sets by well-known DJs from Switzerland and abroad to hip-hop, pop and reggaeton parties.
The winning club shines with lighting, sound and booking
Since its opening eight years ago, "Hï Ibiza" has been innovating on all fronts every new season, praises "DJ Mag". These include the lighting, the sound system and the line-ups, which combine carefully selected big-room headliners with up-and-coming stars of tomorrow.
The operators say: "At 'Hï Ibiza', we pride ourselves on being a place where music connects cultures, transcends borders and brings people from all walks of life together to celebrate."
However, the prices are not exactly for the poor: admission to this year's opening party on April 26 costs around 140 euros.
The "Hï Ibiza" is now setting a record: It is the first club to make it to the top of the list four times. Last year, it tied with "Green Valley", which was voted in first place from 2018 to 2020.
Berghain only in 16th place, Europe loses out
Several German clubs also make it into the ranking. Including Berghain in Berlin. But the well-known techno venue is slipping: Berghain was in 13th place last year, in 2025 the club still makes it to 16th place.
Europe is losing ground across the board. For the first time, fewer than 40 European clubs are included in the ranking. Asia, on the other hand, has risen. The region now has more than 30 clubs, with Thailand standing out in particular.
"With three new entrants and a total of six ranked clubs, the country is now the new center of the Asian club scene."
