Ethan Hunt is basically the American James Bond, but even he lags behind actor Tom Cruise and his stunts. In the video you can see the five craziest stunts that the actor has pulled off (almost) without any tricks.
When Tom Cruise shot the first film in the Mission Impossible series in 1996, he was just 34 years old. Still young and crisp, stretchy and wiry.
Today marks the eighth film in the agent thriller epic. Even at 62, Cruise is still going strong: He probably still insists on doing most things himself these days - easy money for his stunt double, as he only gets a turn if Tom doesn't get the job done.
Over the years, Cruise has of course broken many bones, bruised joints and scraped knees. In the video, however, you can also see a slightly different kind of stunt: He once held his breath for six minutes.
