The current retrospective of the work of Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama runs until January 25. However, all ticket allotments have been sold out for weeks. The exhibition has made a significant contribution to the Fondation Beyeler setting a visitor record in 2025 with 508,870 admissions.

According to the museum's statement, the Matisse exhibition, which is coming to an end, the Surrealist exhibition with works from the Hersaint Collection and the "Northern Lights" exhibition with paintings by Edvard Munch, among others, were also very successful.

The Fondation Beyeler is also optimistic about the current year, which has got off to a good start with the remaining days of the Kusama exhibition. Immediately afterwards, another blockbuster is likely to follow with a major Cézanne exhibition.
