How do young artists create an impact beyond their protected spaces? For the 19th time, the Young Art Festival in Winterthur offers young artists from Switzerland a platform for works on the "pressing issues of our time".

The works range from paintings, sculptures, video works and sound installations to "sometimes quite shrill performances", according to the organizers.
The spectrum of content covered includes topics such as care work, sexualized violence, Swiss urban development and sustainability, they added. In addition to a cultural supporting program, issues such as fair pay for artists and new forms of coexistence will also be addressed.
The concept of Jungkunst should not only apply to the artists, but also to a special degree to the visitors. According to the press release, children's tours will once again be offered at Jungkunst 2025. The aim is to introduce children aged 5 to 12 to the exhibited art in a playful way, the organizers write.
Works by 24 artists aged between 22 and 34 will be on display in a hall at Eulachpark in Winterthur from October 23 to 26. Last year, 4500 art lovers visited the festival at the new location.
