The reason for their rare appearances together is Volk's studies in Australia. The model is studying medicine in Perth, which considerably increases the distance between the two. At the Sports Press Ball in Frankfurt, Otto confirmed to RTL that they are still a couple. "We are still together," he explained, adding that Nathalie is currently busy with exams and therefore cannot be by his side. In an interview with 'Bild', Otto said: "I'm in a long-distance relationship, it's not that easy. And: I'm not a child of sadness." This suggests that he gets on well without Nathalie in the company of other women.

Recently, there has been speculation about their relationship status, as Frank Otto has been seen several times with other attractive women at events. Nevertheless, he emphasizes that there is no crisis: "We simply belong together, even if you can't always see it." Four years ago, Nathalie Volk was briefly in a relationship with a Hells Angels rocker and spoke of great love before turning to another entrepreneur. Her statements and the sparse Instagram posts, which are often heavily filtered, leave room for speculation. It remains to be seen whether the couple will appear together more often again after Volks graduates.
