The French group Compagnie Chargeurs Invest, to which Museum Studio belongs, made the announcement in a press release on Wednesday. A possible purchase price for the planned takeover was not disclosed.

According to Museum Studio, it is a "global leader in engineering and cultural production for museums, brands and foundations". The company wants to strengthen the world's only museum dedicated entirely to Charlie Chaplin with new investments, it added.
