People Harald Glööckler celebrates his 60th birthday with a flamethrower
German fashion designer Harald Glööckler celebrated his 60th birthday with a big party at a hotel in Bad Saarow (Oder-Spree district). The dazzling designer celebrated his milestone birthday surrounded by a host of celebrities.

"Harald Glööckler shows us how to turn even a beach path into a catwalk," the hotel wrote on Instagram on Sunday. In addition to comedian Dieter Hallervorden, guests included fashion designer Sarah Kern and numerous well-known faces from show business.
The extravagant Glööckler even got carried away with a little show with a flamethrower and came to his party by boat across Lake Scharmützelsee. The fashion designer had already announced his party in advance as "gigantic".
At 60, Glööckler is far from thinking about retirement. "I've never been 60 before, so I don't know how I'll feel. Life is only really starting for me now, it might be half-time for me," he said a few days ago.
From fashion and jewelry to wallpaper, dog bowls and suitcases: the designer is constantly creating new products. He has built up his empire with the help of teleshopping and marketing his name.
