Ina Aogo, who has a close relationship with her mare Fabiola, experienced an unexpected fall from her horse. She reported on Instagram that she was thrown off during a gallop and suddenly found herself on the ground.

A morning in hospital

"And how was your morning? My morning ended in hospital," wrote Ina Aogo, who is married to former footballer Dennis Aogo. She shared not only her own injuries but also those of her mare by posting a photo of Fabiola's wound. After a CT scan, Ina was diagnosed with a slight hairline fracture in her spine and now has to take painkillers. "Everything will be fine, I'm sure of that. But I'm already in pain," she assured her fans, who shouldn't worry, even though she is still in shock.

Luck in misfortune for Fabiola

Fabiola also had a stroke of luck: "Fabiola hurt herself because she jumped out of the arena, fell down, got up again, ran in a different direction and fell again. But she's fine too." Ina Aogo lives in Dubai with her husband and two children. She feels safe there, even if life often feels like a segregated community. In an interview with RTL, she explained: "In Dubai, it's common to live in communities. I didn't know that before and when I saw it, I thought it was actually a cool idea. It's like a big gated community and you can't get in without registering." Now we can only hope that Ina Aogo can soon regain her confidence in riding.
