Jacob Elordi's face was cobbled onto the body of a minor in a video on X. The fake also has pornographic content. It is another case of misuse of deepfake technology.

  • Australian actor Jacob Elordi became the victim of a deepfake video.
  • A short clip suddenly appeared on X in which Elordi can apparently be seen masturbating.
  • Not only did the clip turn out to be manipulated, the person depicted has come forward - and revealed that she was not yet of legal age when the video was recorded.

A video of a person masturbating recently circulated on X. The face was that of Jacob Elordi ("Euphoria", "Saltburn"), which was superimposed over the real one using a deepfake.

The video can no longer be found on X due to a breach of the rules.

However, the short clip achieved over three million clicks, as reported by Entertainment Weekly. Many users immediately noticed that the video was not really about Jacob Elordi - the person did not have the same birthmarks as the Australian.

One user who sells pornographic content on OnlyFans came forward with sobering news: he confirmed that it was him in the video and that he was just 17 years old at the time the video was taken. This means that the video is not only morally questionable because of the deepfake, but also illegal. The person also wrote: "Deepfake is getting really creepy."

Elordi is also not the first celebrity to have something like this happen to them. In January of this year, several adult photos with the face of singer Taylor Swift appeared on X. These were only removed from X after 27 million clicks.

Social media users condemned the distribution of the Elordi video and hoped "Jacob sues unknown".
