The Basel government approved these contributions on Tuesday, as announced. With the Eurovision Village project, the MCH Group aims to offer a free accompanying program for the ESC between 10 and 17 May 2025.

The project is intended to be low-threshold and appeal to the entire Basel population and guests from abroad with a diverse cultural and entertainment program. Care will also be taken to ensure that charitable local institutions, clubs and schools are involved in the program.

Eurovision Village is a priority project in accordance with the Ordinance on the Use of Funds from the Swisslos Fund of the Canton of Basel-Stadt of August 19, 2014.
