"Nothing is as strong as love. Especially when you don't expect it. We've been inseparable since day one," the 51-year-old artist is quoted as saying in the newspaper "Bild".
The 25-year age difference is said to be no problem for the couple. "Not a piece of paper fits between us. It's pure love, with all its rough edges," says Eric Philippi.
There was a spark during Michelle's tour
The 26-year-old musician won Florian Silbereisen's ARD "Schlagerchallenge" in 2021. His debut album "Schockverliebt" then climbed to 12th place in the German charts.
The couple are said to have met shortly after this success. They got really close during Michelle's tour last spring.
Eric Philippi appeared there as a guest singer and sang the two duets "Idiot" and "Nicht verdient" with Michelle.
