The separation of Peter Klein (57) and Iris Klein (57) not only led to the end of their marriage, but also to a break with Iris' daughters Daniela Katzenberger (38) and Jenny Frankhauser (32). Both have distanced themselves from their stepfather.
Alienation after the separation
The trigger for the separation was Peter's close friendship with actress Yvonne Woelke (45), which began during the jungle camp. Since then, Peter and Yvonne have been inseparable, which led to Daniela and Jenny also breaking off contact with him. In a YouTube interview with Chris Kappelmann, Peter expressed his disappointment: "I helped raise her. When I met them, Jennifer was still little and Daniela was already a teenager." The loss of contact hurts him a lot.
Public criticism from Jenny
Peter is particularly hurt by Jenny's public criticism. "Daniela has never said anything negative in public, but I'm extremely disappointed in Jennifer," he said. Jenny had criticized both him and Yvonne. "If you're sitting in a glass house, you shouldn't throw stones. She should reflect on herself before judging others," he added, without going into detail. He also misses the contact with Daniela's husband Lucas Cordalis (57): "We were friends and did a lot together. It's a shame that's over."
