A big appearance for the little heir to the throne: accompanied by his family, Britain's Prince George attended a traditional memorial service for the kingdom's fallen soldiers for the first time on Saturday.

Together with his mother, Princess Kate, his grandfather, King Charles III, and his wife, Queen Camilla, the twelve-year-old watched the ceremony at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

George's father, heir to the throne Prince William, was not present. The 43-year-old had just returned from Brazil, where he had traveled as part of the UN Climate Change Conference. George is the eldest son of William and Kate and is therefore second in line to the throne.

The event at the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday was part of the so-called Festival of Remembrance, which commemorates fallen servicemen and women in the UK every year. Prime Minister Keir Starmer also attended with his wife Victoria, and rock legend Rod Stewart was among those who paid tribute to the fallen with a performance.
