In the Lombardi household Wedding is not a priority
Two years after Pietro Lombardi proposed to Laura Maria Rypa, the couple are not yet married. The two have decided to wait until their children can consciously experience their special day before getting married.

On October 30, 2022, Pietro Lombardi (32) happily announced on his Instagram Story that Laura Maria Rypa (28) had accepted his marriage proposal. "Laura said yes, I'm so happy, indescribable.... Get back to you tomorrow!" he wrote. Laura Maria also shared the happy news with a photo showing the question "Will you marry me?" against a background of roses, and confirmed in the caption: "I said Yes."
Turbulent on/off relationship
The last few years have been eventful for the couple. Despite a turbulent on/off relationship, they now have two sons together. In October, a police raid on their villa made negative headlines, but both denied the allegations of domestic violence. The relationship seems to have stabilized in the meantime, but the wedding has yet to take place.
Waiting for the right moment
In a recent Instagram story, Laura Maria Rypa was asked when the wedding will take place. She explained that she and Pietro are in no hurry. Originally, they wanted to get married when their eldest son was old enough to consciously experience the day. Leano will be two years old in January, but his little brother Amelio was recently born. Now they want to wait until all the children can share this special moment with them. What's more, with a building site outside their house and Amelio's christening, there's plenty to organize. "The timing just has to be right," emphasized Laura Maria Rypa.
