The 24-year-old, Basel-born Zoë Më is thus following in the footsteps of Nemo; Nemo was also honored as "Best Talent" by SRF 3. Zoë Më also received this award in French-speaking Switzerland with the "RTS Artiste Radar".
One advantage for Switzerland could be the multilingualism of Zoë Më's songs: although French is not her mother tongue, she transcends Swiss language barriers in her songs. On her EP "Dorienne Girls", which she released last year, she sings in a delicate voice and also switches languages within songs.
Musically, the musician moves between delicate pop and sometimes hymn-like choruses that are captivating. Her music has already been described as "chill noir". Zoë Më has already performed her songs as support for Joya Marleen. If you are a fan of the latter, you will probably also be a fan of Zoë Më, who has a similar, albeit less rocky, musical language. Zoë Më has also performed at various festivals, including the renowned Montreux Jazz Festival.
As Switzerland is hosting the ESC 2025, the artist has qualified directly for the final on May 17. The song she will perform at the TV event, which is one of the biggest in the world, will be announced on Monday morning.
