As Zoë Më clearly also sees herself as a songwriter, it was important to her to be able to represent Switzerland with a song that she had also worked on. "I said right from the start that I wanted to stay close to myself." The delicate pop song was partly written in Scotland.

With "Voyage", Switzerland is entering the competition at its home game in Basel in May with an entry that is less pompous than Nemo's last year in Malmö. However, the song is no less haunting; the power of "Voyage" lies in its poetically reduced style.
