Lenz Hächler is considered a promising ski talent
Keystone
Lenz Hächler is being slowed down in his preparations for the upcoming ski season. Swiss-Ski has announced that the 2024 Junior World Champion in slalom will have to take a break due to a foot injury.
The up-and-coming technical specialist suffered the injury during training in Zermatt this week. Examinations at the Hirslanden Clinic in Zurich revealed a partial rupture of the outer ligaments of the right ankle, as reported by Swiss-Ski.
The 22-year-old from Zug will have to take a break and will not be traveling with the Swiss team to the training camp in South America as planned.
