FC Thun continue their run as leaders of the Super League. The Bernese Oberlanders had no trouble at bottom club Winterthur and won 4:1.

FC Thun needed three minutes and 20 seconds on the Schützenwiese to decide the game. Mauro Lustrinelli's team benefited from the defensive shortcomings of Winterthur. The most porous defense in the league by far made far too many mistakes within a short space of time, from Ethan Meichtry's fine goal (20') to Elmin Rastoder's fortunate finish (22') and Remo Arnold's emergency foul (24').

Although Thun were soon forced to concede a goal through Andrin Hunziker, they restored their two-goal lead before the break with a long-range shot from Justin Roth. They easily defended their advantage after the break, increasing their lead to 4:1 with Christopher Ibayi's eighth goal of the season and celebrating their 12th win in their 18th league game since promotion.

In the final round, FC Thun will face FC Zurich at home on Saturday and will have their next long-distance duel for the top spot with FC St. Gallen.
