FC Lucerne come away with a 2:1 home win against Sion with little effort. The Central Swiss side scored in both halves in the opening quarter of an hour.

One scoring chance, two goals: you can't play an hour of football more efficiently than FC Luzern. After just over five minutes, Severin Ottiger and Adrian Grbic made it 1-0 with a successful move. Sion defender Kreshnik Hajrizi involuntarily finished off the hosts' second noteworthy advance into the opposition penalty area a good 50 minutes after the first with a remarkable own goal.

The fact that this weak performance was enough to earn FC Luzern three points was largely down to FC Sion. The Valais side's efforts rarely led to scoring chances. The countless crosses into the Lucerne penalty area were almost always defused by the Central Swiss defense - except for the one in the 65th minute, which Severin Ottiger unfortunately deflected into his own goal.
