Arsenal have signed the Spanish European champion Mikel Merino. The 28-year-old midfielder is moving to London from Real Sociedad San Sebastian, as confirmed by both clubs.
Merino is said to have cost a good 30 million euros, according to various media reports. The 28-time international scored in the quarter-final against the hosts at the European Championship in Germany in extra time to win 2:1.
