The draw after the quarter-finals gave FC Biel from the Promotion League, the first third division team to reach the last four since 1999, a home match against the Swiss champions. This is the fifth time these two teams have faced each other in the Cup, with the Seelanders winning once. The last clash in the first round in 2018 only went to YB after extra time.
Basel and Lausanne-Sport have met 17 times in the Cup, including four times in the final.
The semi-finals will take place on April 26 and 27.
