Cameron Puertas from Lausanne is moving to Saudi Arabia. The 26-year-old has signed a three-year contract with Al Qadsiah, as announced by his Belgian ex-club Union Saint-Gilloise.
Puertas played his way to the fore in Belgium last season. He narrowly missed out on the championship title with Union Saint-Gilloise. Thanks to 14 goals and 23 assists, he was named the best player in the Belgian league.
At Al Qadsiha, which is based in Khobar on the Persian Gulf, Puertas will be team-mates with greats such as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Nacho, the former Real Madrid defender.
