The Washington Wizards with Kyshawn George lose 121-131 to the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA, while the Atlanta Hawks win against Orlando without Clint Capela.
The Washington Wizards recently surprised everyone with a three-game winning streak. Now the team from the US capital has come back down to earth. The Wizards suffered their third defeat in a row against the San Antonio Spurs, and in their 53rd game of the season they were defeated for the 44th time, which is still the weakest record in the entire league.
George was back in the starting line-up for the young Wizards team after having to take a break due to a foot injury. The 21-year-old Walliser contributed 11 points, seven rebounds and three assists. The Spurs' two star players Victor Wembanyama and De'Aaron Fox shone with 31 and 30 points respectively.
Meanwhile, Clint Capela was once again absent for the Atlanta Hawks. The team from the state of Georgia celebrated an important victory against a direct rival in the battle for a place in the play-offs against the Orlando Magic with a 112-106 win. It was the Hawks' fourth win in the last five games.
