FC Basel failed to recapture the top spot in the Super League. Coach Fabio Celestini's team only managed a 1-1 draw at home to Lausanne-Sport.

In a lively game, Basel's early lead through Kevin Carlos (4th minute) lasted just over an hour. Fousseni Diabaté then took a free kick, which found its way into the net via goalkeeper Marwin Hitz. The equalizer came after a Basel storming run in which two goals were disallowed for offside.
FCB's drought against Lausanne thus continues: since February 2022, the red and blue side have drawn and lost four times. Following Lugano's victory the previous day, Basel are now one point behind the Ticino side in 2nd place.
Servette and Lucerne are now two points behind FCB. Geneva turned the game against Grasshoppers at the Letzigrund around in the space of three minutes. Miroslav Stevanovic (76') and Steve Rouiller (79') turned the game around and inflicted GC coach Tomas Oral's first defeat in the championship. Tsiy Ndenge had previously given the hosts the lead with a penalty.
In Yverdon, the home team managed a late victory against FC St. Gallen. Winter signing Antonino Marchesano scored the only goal of the game in the 92nd minute. Prior to that, the Vaud side had done little offensively for a good half hour while outnumbered. Thanks to the win, Yverdon overtook Grasshoppers and are now in 10th place.
