In the 5th minute, a corner kick variation from the bottom team worked perfectly. Nishan Burkhardt's half-height cross found Andrin Hunziker, who volleyed home his ninth goal of the season. The course of the season so far shows that a lead is not half the battle for FC Winterthur. The last time the Zurich side played to nil was in May, last season.
In Sion, too, the defense was unable to fully withstand the increasing pressure from the Valais side after the break. Winsley Boteli scored the equalizer in the 66th minute, only shortly after coming on as a substitute. It was the 19-year-old's fifth Joker goal.
