FC Zurich has found a successor to sporting director Milos Malenovic, who left the club shortly before the turn of the year. Alessandro Mangiarratti takes over the post of Technical Director.

Alessandro Mangiarratti will replace the previous Head of Sport as Technical Director from February 1, FC Zurich has announced. The 47-year-old from Ticino was active as a player in the former National League A and worked as a coach at Young Boys U21, Vaduz and, most recently, Yverdon from October 2023 to December 2024.
As Technical Director at FCZ, Mangiarratti will "manage and coordinate the sporting departments and, as a member of the transfer commission, support the club in the planning and implementation of transfers". As a member of the Executive Board, he will also help the club management with the strategic and operational direction of the club.
