With the trio plus the previous day's winner Marielle Berger Sabbatel, the same four women were in the final as on Saturday. Sandra Näslund showed no signs of weakness this time. The Swede won with an unchallenged start-finish victory and showed that third place on Saturday was just a blip. Fanny Smith allowed herself to be caught on the home straight after successfully defending second place throughout the race.

The real winner for the Swiss team was Ryan Regez. The Olympic and world champion secured the A-limit for the Olympic Games by qualifying for the semi-finals. The man from the Bernese Oberland raised his fist to the sky as he crossed the finish line. In the semi-final and small final, he no longer sought out the duels.

Alex Fiva, who was aiming for his 40th World Cup podium, was in the final. However, he messed up the start in this run and was unable to move up from 4th place. Canadian Reece Howden won for the third time in a row.

The next ski cross races are in Veysonnaz in January, after which the Olympic tickets will be awarded.
