FC St. Gallen has signed Ghanaian international Stephan Ambrosius for its central defense.

The German-Ghanaian dual national joins the club from Hamburger SV on a free transfer and a three-year contract, as announced by the Super League club.

The 25-year-old Ambrosius made 18 appearances in the 2nd Bundesliga last season. The former German junior international has two senior caps for Ghana to his name.
