As expected, title holders Tanja Hüberli and Nina Brunner will not be taking part in the European Championships in the Netherlands, which begin on Tuesday.

The duo are taking a break after winning the bronze medal at the Olympic Games in Paris last Friday. Hüberli and Brunner have finished on the podium three times in a row at the last three European Championships, twice as winners (2021 and 2023) and once as runners-up.
