Milan, who dominated the first half, let the game slip out of their hands in the second half. In the 74th minute, Kolo Muani, on loan from PSG, was only just stopped in the penalty area, but the ball ended up with Chico Conceição, who slotted home from close range. The 22-year-old Portuguese's goal was to be the only one of the game.
Inter have picked up just four points from their last four games and have lost the lead in the table to Napoli. Juventus moved up to 4th place thanks to the prestigious win, but are still eight points behind Inter.
