Jarell Quansah is to become Granit Xhaka's team-mate at Bayer Leverkusen. The 22-year-old moves from Liverpool to the Bundesliga runners-up and signs a contract until 2030.

Quansah will help to fill the gap left by international Jonathan Tah's move to Bayern Munich. The Englishman defeated Germany in the European Championship final with the U21 national team.
According to media reports, Quansah will cost the Bundesliga club around 30 million euros in transfer fees. This would make him one of the most expensive additions in the club's history.
