Lucerne had to settle for a point in the 14th round of the Super League despite taking an early two-goal lead. The Central Swiss side once again let victory slip from their grasp against Servette.

Lucerne will mourn the loss of Oscar Kabwit's chance. The man from the Democratic Republic of Congo missed the preliminary decision in the 70th minute when he got the better of Jérémy Frick but put the ball against the left post. Instead of 3:1 for the home team, it was 2:2 two minutes later when Florian Ayé lobbed the ball over Pascal Loretz after a long pass to equalize.

Once again, Lucerne had let a two-goal lead slip from their grasp. Unlike against FC Zurich, when Mario Frick's team ended up with no points at all, they at least managed to salvage a point. A small consolation for the Central Swiss side, who were already 2-0 up after a lightning start and nine minutes thanks to goals from Julian von Moos and Matteo Di Giusto. Timothé Cognat brought the tension back with his 57th-minute equalizer and set the Lucerne team's thoughts spinning.
