Marco Kohler is out due to injury. As Swiss-Ski announced on Monday, the 28-year-old tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee during his crash in the downhill in Kitzbühel.

Kohler is due to undergo surgery in the coming days. He will also use the break to "rehabilitate" an older injury to his left knee. It is therefore clear that Kohler will miss the Olympic Games in Italy - he had reached the internal limit in the downhill.

Kohler already knows what awaits him now. In 2024, he tore the cruciate ligament in his right knee in the downhill in Wengen, and in 2020 he tore the ligament in his left knee.
