As the European association announced on Thursday, Young Boys will not be allowed to sell tickets to their own fans at their next away game in the Europa League. This affects the match in Stuttgart on January 29. The Bernese club will also be fined around 45,000 Swiss francs.

The sanctions were imposed for throwing objects, causing damage to the stadium and its facilities and for crowd disturbances.

Eight YB supporters were arrested after the confrontation with the police at the stadium in Birmingham. One of them has been jailed for two months.
