One day after the serious accident in the Moto3 race at the Malaysian GP, Noah Dettwiler is still in a critical condition in intensive care. His condition is described as stable.
"Noah has had to undergo several operations in the past few hours, which have gone well. According to the doctors treating him, his condition is stable but still critical." Dettwiler's team CIP Green Power, his family, the management and Tom Lüthi shared this news.
The information thus coincides with the statements that had previously been made public via the Spanish sports newspaper "As". A reporter had spoken to MotoGP chief physician Angel Charte at the airport. Noah Dettwiler is being artificially beamed, but at a low level, the doctor gave some details. In the emergency operation on Sunday, Dettwiler's severely injured spleen was also removed. No other injuries were found in the abdomen.
Dettwiler's family, including his parents Nicole and Andy and sister Noëlle, have now arrived at the hospital in Kuala Lumpur and are supporting Noah on site, as reported by Blick.
Before the start of the Moto3 race in Sepang on Sunday, Dettwiler rode slowly at the side of the track on the warm-up lap. The Spanish world champion Jose Antonio Rueda overlooked his opponent and crashed into the rear of the rider from Solothurn with full force.
